After a 12 year hiatus, we are pleased to announce that our club will be returning to the Westwood Club and Reading rooms as our main 'clubhouse'.

Just half a mile up the road from the pitch, the club will be used for all of our post match hospitality and some social events for the remainder of the season. There will be hot food for our teams and the opposition after our games each week, with a changing menu so watch out for the weekly updates on what is being served.

Last Saturday it was chilli, rice and nachos, which went down a storm with our mens 2s and mens 3s teams. We will need to know numbers for catering by Wednesday, so if you would like to stay for teas please let your captain know each week.

On top of this, starting in January, The Westwood Club is inviting all members of Coventry and North Warwickshire to become a member of The Westwood Club. The membership price is £12 for the year and gives you a discount on drinks. They also have bingo on Tuesdays and Saturday nights, and they have the concert room available to hire.

The concert room is where we have held our curry night for many years. We are pleased to say that the 19th October was no different with members, young and old, having a great night, eating great curry and raising money for the club.

We are encouraging our members to support our move to The Westwood Club so that we can get high numbers going back for teas each week after our games. We are looking to support the social side of our club this year and build it back up to have big socials in our 130th year.

Our next social is on the 7th December, everyone is welcome. It’s Christmas jumpers for our Christmas drinks after the last games of the year. The Westwood Club will be open all afternoon and evening for the celebrations. Friends and family are all welcome to join us.

We are looking to have a huge 130th Celebration end of season dinner and awards, so if you know of any past members please invite them to join us on the 10th May for a charity fundraising tournament during the day, and a three course meal at The Holiday Inn, Kenilworth in the evening, 7pm start.
