David had been a club member for many years, as a player, committee member and most recently 1st XI manager from our time in national league up until the 2017 season, a commitment spanning many many years.

He will be remembered for his keen sense of humour, generous nature and of course his pipe.

He supported both the club immensely during his time, and developed great relationships with other club members.

Although we had seen less of him over the last couple of years he will be greatly missed. Our sympathies go out to Ruth and the family, and we hope to, at some point when COVID allows, celebrate David’s contribution to the club in a more traditional way.
